THE NINE SACRED RITES

When we speak  of the nine sacred rites of Atonism, we do so with the realisation that the word rite, represents the formal procedures by which we choose to live our lives. This serves as a sign that our Kanesa or Church promotes sacredness of mind, wholeness of body and discipline of actions. Thereby these nine rites, point directly to what is sacred, significant and important for all Atonists; simply those who adhere to Atonism.

The nine sacred rites are special events that are needed, as well as performed, in such manner that we may experience the redemptive and renewing presence of The Most High Heavenly One AN NAAY RE.

THE

RITE OF BAPTISM

The purpose of the rite of Baptism is to bring us back to the remembrance of The Most High Heavenly One.
As the first of the nine sacred rites within the Holy Qubtic Church, it is a necessary step that one must take towards attaining Atonement for all misdeeds (Mark Chapter 1 verse 4).

The Rite Of EuKarast

The Rite Of EuKarast

The rite of the EuKarast, commonly known as Communion, opens the doorway to the precept principle of Corresponding and Communicating With The Divine. This rite is thereby both an offering, as well as symbolic meal, meant to feed stimulate and awaken, the divine presence of the Guardian Angelic Hosts, who function from

within our very DNA. .

The Rite Of Restitution

The Qubtic Rite Of Restitution, is the method by which we are granted forgiveness, of those wrongdoings which we have committed both knowingly and unknowingly, after we have taken out baptism. It is an outward gesture, were one admits their misdeeds, while presenting themselves to the selected priest or priestess, who in turn pronounces the judgement and imposes the equal, as well as balanced restitution.

The Rite Of Affirmation

This rite, is given to all mature young people between the ages of fourteen and seventeen. Having already passed the age of thirteen, they are unable to be given a
Bar-Mitz-Wa (coming of age) ritual. Thereby, The Rite Of Affirmation represents a promise to remain committed to the precepts, rites, rituals, laws, statutes and commandments of The Most High Heavenly One, AN NAAY RE. It helps young people to develop a deeper sense of responsibility, in order for them to become productive members of humanity.

THE RITE OF PILGRIMAGE

This rite is an obligatory pilgrimage that is to be performed at least once, within a person’s lifetime, to the rebuilt Mir (Pyramid-University) on African soil. This is done so that you will be able to reaffirm your connection to, as well as respect for, the first land from where all of humanity was created. This divine rite allows us to realign with the actual living planet on which we live.

THE RITE OF DISCIPLINE

This sacred rite encourages us to obtain some sort of education, qualification or skill, by which we can utilise to support ourselves and our families. It is said, that the helping hand that you are looking for is at the end of your own arm, which we hold as true. This is because all of us are an extension of the hand, of the Most High Heavenly One AN NAAY RE.
Put another way, if you are unable to help yourself, you will be incapable of helping others. The Rite Of Discipline is also furthered through the practice of fasting. This allows each person to relate to those less fortunate than themselves, who often go without food, due to their circumstances.

The Rite Of Binding Two Flesh

The Rite Of Binding Two Flesh

Of all of the Qubtic rites, The Rite Of Binding Two Flesh is the most important. This is because it is one of the two ways, in which we as Atonists can gain genetic perfection and eternal life, through our progeny. Many people today misunderstand this rite as being merely matrimony. However it is a ceremonial practice, that serves as a public sign, that the couple is dedicating themselves to our church, their family lineage, household, as well as each other.  Put another way, if you are unable to help yourself, you will be incapable of helping others. The Rite Of Discipline is also furthered through the practice of fasting.
This allows each person to relate to those less fortunate than themselves, who often go without food, due to their circumstances.

THE RITE OF SACRED SOCIETIES

This sacred rite is important for those who wish to be initiated, into the societies of priests and priestesses within our church. Whereby they will have an opportunity, to be further initiated into the society of the earthly Angelic Order, known as
The Asarian Wa Asetian Society (AWAS). As a result, an individual partaking of The Rite Of Sacred Societies, will allow them (upon completion the various stages) to guide other Atonists, towards a higher purpose filled life.

THE RITE OF SUPPLICATIONS

The last of our Qubtic rites, is our method of communicating with the divine, that is within and all around us at all times. It is inclusive of the pre-funerary, and the funerary rites, of anointing the sick in order to bring about healing. We also bring anointing to those who may be near expiration, in order to put them at ease as they approach the state of transition, as well as those who have already expired, to ease the minds of their living relatives. This rite is a ritual of healing, that is appropriate in treating not only physical sickness, but also mental

and spiritual sickness as well.
